Tweed River, AU / North Head

max. depth: 8.7 m
dive time: 50 min

notes:

Weather clear.
Sea calm, high tide to avoid strong current

Conditions better then Loretta had led me to believe. Mostly clear except for patches of floating kelp bits, or "corn flakes."Also dove w/boyfriend Dave, the dive prostitute from the dive club.
Bottom was rocks dumped when channel formed and sand. Steel things, bars, and pipes, Thai papers, bottles, caterpillars.

Quite a lot of fish life including:

thornback skate (60 cm)
yellow and black catfish w/eel-like tail (60 cm)
longtom
eastern fortesque, lots (10 cm)
heaps of stripeys (10 cm)
green moon wrasse
leatherjackets
