This whisky was made in 1978 and bottled in June 1993 and tasted in January 2001. It was bottled by Cadenhead's at cask strength (57.5%).
It has a very light, pale yellow color. The nose is perfumy sweet with a slight vanilla aroma. Body is medium. It is a very warming whisky, and unfortunately the flavor doesn't match its nose. That said, it is still a fine whisky. It has a long, soft finish.
Scores 9 on bouquet, 4 on appearance, 12 on flavor, 4 on body, and a 7 overall for a total of 36 out of 50.
