Perfumy sweet nose. I don't know if it's the cold, but after 5 minutes of sniffing looking for more adjectives, the whiskey started to smell like vomit, but perhaps that's because I may be coming down with a cold or because I sniffed too long or because the bottle was opened too long ago.
Smooth start. Light flavor More of a lowland character than an island one. Of course, Campbeltown is sort of in the middle. Medium body. It did not taste as nice as I remember it. Will have to try again with a fresh bottle some day.
Score 3 for bouquet, 4 for appearance, 16 for flavor, 4 for body, and 5 overall for a total of 32.
