   Alameda, CA / Ken's Boat

max. depth: 5.6 m
dive time: 13 min

notes:

Dry Creek Chardonnay!

Weather mild, mostly sunny.
Sea calm, cold.

Cleaned the boat.

Looked for safety goggles Ken had dropped. Did not find.
Found bags, tops, socks and '92 Dry Creek (Chardonnay by taste). Still good!
Much cooler, of course, but hands, without gloves, warmed quickly.
Lost plunger at beginning. Dove for it. But came up with 10 m copper diesel line instead.
Hard work finning to keep contact.
Hit dock coming up, mini anxiety attack. Needed air, not desperately, but nice to catch breath above water.
One final search for plunger (3 min) Could actually see bottom, a little crab.

20 lbs on belt, 4 lbs on ankles. Plenty, but no vest, no gloves.
